New beginnings

Sorry if you call here for my T day Post you will find it
HERE

This tag is  for the challenge  over at

the theme is..... New Beginnings.
Most of the additions to the tag are computer generated, the base is however a corrugated base.
I spent quite a while stripping the surface off some card to use sometime in the future,  did I need to do this, NO, I have a pile of the stuff in a pending paper pile, that never seems to  go down in size.

I grabbed these papers from the said  pile  to use as the background layers  of a journal page.
The  stripped back  corrugated piece,   printed paper [my own design], an embossed brick pattern on kraft card and a  brusho mop up... stencilled then stamped with tiny pearl drops as accents.

A plus side of using a computer to layer papers is that I am able to blend  them together, the minus side is that I still have the original  papers on the pile.

This is the hybrid  page I  created, for my digital journal, adding the tag and a silhouette figure.
I hope she has  many new adventures in the coming year.
I will be adding the page to

and Erika's theme of New Year, New Adventures.

Thank you for calling in to see me today, you are always welcome here.

Digital information can be
found in my sidebar.

    Your support is just wonderful!
A big smile on my face just now :
"I have a pile of the stuff in a pending paper pile, that never seems to go down in size."
That's exactly the same here in my living room studio- at least every three months I throw away more than 90% of all I gathered the whole time....
    I often laugh about myself!
Chris wrote similar today! We seem to be all the same type of gatherer!Have a nice evening - time flies again - nearly weekend already!

  3. Both your tag and your journal page are brilliant! Love the silhouette figure dreaming away! As for piles of papers I have been clearing out saved articles but have still to tackle the scrap box and pencil case scraps! A few collages coming up methinks! Hugs,Chrisx

  8. That is really clever how you have blended the papers together. I would never have imagined this without your side picture above it. The tag is really lovely on its own and also adds so much to the whole page. I love it.

  9. How remarkable and clever you are. The tag is really lovely, and it pairs well with the journal page. I am SO impressed with the way you married the two. The silhouette and the quote lead your eye to the rest of the page after you admire the tag. This is a lovely, and well done page from a composition perspective. Thanks for sharing it with us at Art Journal Journey, dear Yvonne.

  10. A truly stunnig page I just love how all the elements have been blended in your digital programme. I have been meaning to ask you a question about this digi journal for a while now, so here it is: Do you print the pages out and then glue them in a real journal, or is the whole thing just digitlal only?

    1. Hi Astrid, I don't usually print out my digital pages or the ones like this which have my own layers etc blended together.
The pages made this way are all stored in files on my computer.
I also like to store photos of the blended layers as I am creating them, very handy to print out to use for hands on pages etc.
Hope this helps answer your question.
