Tea anyone?

A second post from me, not often I have two on the same day,
if you called to see what I made for TioT's  its here,

This page I made using   my new set of Wild Flower die cuts that I managed to get when we were away in the caravan. So washing and ironing done, I just had to have a play.
For the cups die cut  I used a pretty paper.
There were a variety of stencils used for the background , with distress inks for shading.
I even used up some scraps of cut out parchment work I'd had saved in the bits box.
The flowers on the saucer were added digitally after I took the photos.

So pretty afternoon tea cups aside this is the more usual state of  my work desk.

I
Yes , I have cropped the photo a bit, but I wanted to share my cup of tea with the folk at
Bleubeard and Elizabeth

who all made me feel so welcome when I joined them last week.
I may not get to visit every week, but I will certainly try.

Thank you for calling in to see me, the comments you leave for me are always appreciated.

  9. Gorgeous and so feminine with all the pinks. The paper you used for the teacup amkes it look like fine bone china. Love the wildflowers and their colouring. Also love how you add little digital touches when you are editing your photos. I just aim to get the darn colour corrections done.
    Hugs!

  10. I love this tea piece of art! It makes me want a cup of tea. I think afternoon art time with a cup of tea is the best. What is it about tea and inspiration. Well maybe that is just me. :) Hugs-Erika

  11. I apologize for being late, Yvonne, but I have been fighting round after round of steady hail, torrential rains, high winds, and a threat of tornadoes. I finally stuck my head up long enough to check my blog and feel bad I wasn't here sooner.

That cup of tea with the beautiful blooms is out of this world. Seriously, this screams romance. I adore it. And I also really enjoyed seeing your actual work space, too. And you drink your tea with milk, which I actually love, too. It's a wonderful photo, as is the beautiful artwork.

Thanks so much for joining us again for T this week. Your art is always over the top and I really love this.
