Cassie . [clean and simple]

Week19 over at Less is MoreAnother and the one layer card challenge set by Chrissie and Mandi is 'In the Frame'
I used an oblong template for my frame using  dried marigold distress ink to colour and shade.  The stamp I used is  by Stampotique, the words I have had a while, but I think they suit this unusual lady. I had to stop myself adding a lined frame round the shading and would love to know what you think about line/or not.
Another challenge that is asking us to try clean and simple technique  this week is here at the Stamptique Designers Challenge 32.
Thankyou for stopping by, I realy appreciate your comments.

  2. A very unusual stamp. I like what you've done with it though and it looks fine as is. Carol x

  7. I think i['s fab as it is Cassie,
Were you thinking a straight solid line, because I think as the yellow is very slightly shaded it would be better left as is!
    Thank you so much

  12. A fab, quirky card. I think you were right to leave out the border - she might have looked a bit squashed. She's fab. xx

  13. Umm I see what you mean. A very unusual style of stamp, no line needed, your shading is spot on.Caz

  14. It's great without the lines, but I might have drawn (with a ruler) a double line border about 1/8 inch outside the sponged block. Maybe not even full lines, just at the corners....don't mind me...I'm just thinking out loud! LOL!
